CHARACTER INFO

• Character Name: Senshi
• Character Age: 112 years of age.
• Character Canon: Delicious in Dungeon
• Canon Point: Season 1 Episode 13, “Red Dragon III/Good Medicine”

• Character History: It’s ready!

• Character Personality: Provide information about their personality, both negative and positive aspects — with three of each. Give examples of how they've behaved this way. You do not need to provide an essay, but please submit enough to give a feel for the character.

— SELF-RELIANT: It is a point of pride of Senshi to know how to live on his own. Due to his trauma of losing his mining crew Senshi lived mostly alone (aside his time with the orcs) and learned how to eat monsters by himself. He makes it a point to try to teach fellow party members on the ways of his survivalist techniques. One such instance is early on in their travels Marcille offered to light the fire with her magic, which he declined, comparing magic “the easy way” to do things like buying food from a shop instead of harvesting your own. This attitude quickly changes as he gets to learn more about Marcille, watching her do physical labor such making soap out of kelpie fat and learn how much work she puts into her magic. His sense of wanting to look after people (especially if they are younger than him) leads him to become of a teacher of sorts, like giving Chilchuck an unnecessary lecture of the birds and the bees or showing Laois and Marcille how to handle seafood.
— DEDICATION: Senshi is a man of narrow focus. As such he puts his heart and soul into the things he cares about: his friends, eating well, and respecting the dungeon’s ecosystem. He makes sure his fellow party members get enough to eat and sleep and he follows belief in taking only what is needed from the dungeon. Whenever someone overkills or over harvest in the dungeon he becomes irritable at best and angry at worst. That said his love for monsters is easily overridden by his love for his friends and will risk his life against a fire breathing dragon to protect his friends. Senshi’s sense of loyalty also allows him see the same trait in others, such Maizuru’s maternal feelings toward Shuro.
— STOICISM: Senshi is not a very expressive character to say the least. This makes him less likely to react strongly or panic to much things, he’s not shy about his feelings on magic or eating well. This also causes him to keep his life’s story close to his chest. It creates a sense of mystery about him, and it takes an encounter of his worst fear to let him finally tell his story of starvation and possible cannibalism. He opens up his fears and in thanks of his friends Senshi learns the truth about the mystery meal his father figure left him before he died from his injuries. Afterward he’s still mostly unflappable except for the time when Izutsumi makes a crack at being sick of his dumplings, though he quickly recovers and discovers a new way to change up his dish.

— OBSTINACY: Senshi is stubborn in his ways. He has spent a majority of his life living near or in the dungeon and developed the skills necessary to survive with little to no contact with civilization. Due to his sensitivity to magic he often clashes with Marcille, the magic user of the party. He’s quick to dismiss it as the easy way, even though it took years for Marcille to master her magic. This trait lessens over the first season as he learns to adapt and learn from his party member’s skills, such as Chilchuck teaching him the basics of disarming traps. At the second half of the season he even ask Marcille’s help with her magic against a Kraken and later on getting a frozen fish.
— CARELESSNESS: He has a laser focus on his love of monsters and eating well. Anything else means little and less to him, to the point where he nearly got killed in his lack of paying attention to traps. Through the party’s journey to the lower levels of the dungeon he learned to listen to his friends when it comes to their area of expertise though he still has his moments; such as accidentally blowing up the dragon’s carcass when Laois has warned him the dangers of lightening a fire so close to a dragon’s fuel organ.
— PREJUDICE: Senshi has his racial biases though a good portion comes from the lack of experience with people and remembering thr stereotypes dwarves had of other races when he was younger. He honestly can’t tell from Laois and Marcille’s ages and assumes they are actually younger than they appear to be. His anti-magic tendency eggs on his bigotry toward elves and to Marcille in particular. They butt heads more often than any other party member, and in one particular instance nearly got Senshi killed because he wanted to ride a man-eating water horse instead of dealing with Marcille’s magic. Chilchuck got the worst of it as Senshi had no experience at all with the half-foot race who appear far younger than they actually are. It took Chilchuck to admit he has a wife and children to get to Senshi to comprehend who Chilchuck really is. Senshi really gets a special perspective when he turned into an elf by the changeling mushrooms. While he acts it doesn’t really bother him being an elf hinders his combat abilities and was more than relieved when Laois learned a way to reverse the change.

• Character Skills: Does your character have any particular skills that might help them in game? Maybe they have knowledge of firearms, carpentry, fishing, maybe foraging or how to make clothes. List them here in bullet-point form:

• Hunting
• Fishing
• Farming
• Cooking
• Monster Knowledge

• Character Inventory: Characters may bring THREE items with them. These can be items a character owns, but might not happen to have on their person when they are brought to this world. They may bring tools they may already own to help them survive, or cherished personal items. The clothes they're wearing do not count as a slot, but if they have really good winter coat at home, that would count as a slot.

— ITEM ONE: Mithril Kitchen Knife; an absurdly sharp knife that can cut through a dragon’s thick hide.
— ITEM TWO: Adamantium Cooking Pot; originally a powerful shield Senshi used to cook. It dissipates heat evenly and can withstand a dragon’s fire breath.
— ITEM THREE: 10 rolls of red dragon ham. While likely hard to consume with a party of five people it will be quickly consumed by a town of a hundred.

• Important Notes: As a dwarf Senshi is strong and can hold heavy shields easily enough but he can get exhausted quickly. He’s able to see in the dark but has a low tolerance for magic and gets nauseated from it, such as teleportation.
